You can get punished for that?

More importantly, it’s of larger need to know what skills you DON’T have. I know exactly where I’m lacking and I work on it frequently.
I’m a self-aware liberal. Not to the extreme but more towards center. Now that that’s out of the way, yes, I do think Obama is the next president. I also thought that McCain should have won against W 8 years ago, he just didn’t have the money to push through. He does have common sense approaches to most items but make no mistake, his is a republican and his believes in military might.
If you’ve been following it at all, you’ve no doubt noticed the republicans are taking the low road. Old politics really, where you spend more time and money abassing your opponent than shinning a light on you. An election is really about selecting the person you fear the least. It’s stupid (Conservatives here will get a backlash from it).
The last one from McCain was hillarious. It compares Obama to celebrities. Sorry John but that’s exactly what being President is about in this day in age. No one elects a President they hate.
Obama released his own message. Now pay close attention because this ad doesn’t attack McCain so much as it attacks the ad – and it finished with a positive note. Look at that tag line!
As much as the world assumes Obama is the next President, they are not the ones voting. He needs to win the bible belt. The place where they actually beleive Satan exists in people, Creationism is a fact and whites are the superior race. It’s almost a 3rd world country in some areas.
Here’s to a very entertaining 4 months.
Seems the site hack stuff is over with. Added a new module for added security in the future. Took a frikin MONTH to get all of it cleaned out and in the process I purged about 75% of the size of the site.
Oh well, all done now.
Tournoi Major en FDS!! Party!
PS. 1 stroke off bogey golf yesterday.

One of the funniest men I have ever seen or heard and the reason comedy is so close to my heart. Only Lewis Black that’s left…

I’m sure this isn’t news to everyone but I found this the other day. Remember when you were a kid and were trying to eat everything? Those small plastic blocks sure did look appetizing! Now some wacko at Kellogg’s decided to OK this product. How is a child supposed to know the difference between these and the plastic block!?
Bring on the lawsuits!
This is probably one of the most difficult conversations to have in a couple. Someone always makes less than the other. Initially the feeling is we should pay a equal percentage of income but that really complicates things in the long run. For example, if I put 500 and you put in 750 a month, it might be the same percentage on the shot but after 5 years I have 30,000 and you have 45,000 which is a huge difference. If things go sour, how do you split things up? Both people use things equaly, why should they pay differing amounts? If you happen across some extra money, do you put in more that time or not?
Because of the complications in percentages, I’ve always been a fan of set numbers. It’s MILES easier to figue out in the long run and you can easily count the numbers in your head. Plus, if things don’t go smooth, the end result is a lot easier for both parties to come to terms with.
I’m glad I have a singificant other who has a financial mind and can see both sides of this question. It’s a lot easier to move forward that way and no one feels targetted. One more step complete!
I am awestruck.

There are still a few tricks to work out, such as how the original ancestor cells successfully split in two without spilling their precious genetic cargo – but come on. These guys just replicated what took a planet and millions of years in a couple of terms with less than ten dollars of glassware. Awe and wonder are deeply subjective quantities, but I can say for a fact: if you are not impressed by this work, you are wrong.
