I saw this on Friday, in 3D mind you.  I had heard a lot of good about it but I still had no real expectations.

I can honestly say that this movie will change the way that movies are made in the future.  James Cameron has some weird ability with special effects to make your jaw drop and never realize you’re watching CG.  He is everything that George Lucas was.

I highly encourage everyone to see this movie, either in IMAX or in 3D.  The story might be simple and straightforward but that’s the point.  It’s the planet of Pandora, in all its intricacies that’s the real star.  My mind is blown.

Cullen Runs for Mayor

I rarely post things of this nature but I wanted to link to it for 2 reasons.  First, my opinions of Cullen are at best expletive (Doucet and Munter are right in the same bag) and second, look at the comments section on this article.  Now, I’m not saying that the CBC commenters are an accurate slice of the Ottawa populace but holy shart, 99% of all comments are negative against the guy.

The good news is that you have to give up your councilor seat to run as mayor.  This is exactly why everyone was happy Munter ran in the last elections as he’s now gone from our landscape.

Suffice it to say, this is simply political suicide.  Which to be honest, does not surprise me one bit with Cullen.
